Our team has over 45 years of construction and real estate experience, successfully performing projects that range from $500 to $5,000,000. We believe successful projects are built on teamwork. The client, architect, engineer, and general contractor harmoniously working together is the key to each project’s success. We are a New York based firm primarily performing projects in New York City, Long Island, and Eastern Pennsylvania. However, when our expertise is needed outside of those locations we are happy to work with our clients to make their designs come to life wherever they may be located.
Our customer base is comprised of residential, commercial and retail clients. With that in mind, we take our clients budgetary considerations very seriously. We know you understand the value of quality workmanship, and we make every effort to keep our prices reasonable and communicate clearly when it comes to upfront fees and any changes that may come up along the way. LJG Construction provides general contracting and construction management services to residential and commercial clients. The company has extensive experience in high-end renovations, examples of which are displayed on this website. It has established and maintained excellent relationships with regionally known architects, sub-contractors, and building supply sources which greatly benefit our clients in quality, design solutions, and cost.
PROJECT PLANNING
LJG Construction provides planning process assistance for residential and commercial projects working closely with the architect, engineers, sub-contractors, and the owner to provide a smooth, efficient process from project conception to completion. The company identifies and meets the owner’s needs, concerns, budget, and schedule. Regular meetings accompanied by detailed notes and minutes provide records of project progress for all parties.

OUR HISTORY
LJG Construction has evolved from a generation based family business that traces its beginnings to 1927 when Charles Gueli Sr., at the age of 16, came to New York City by ship, a Sicilian born apprentice cabinetmaker, looking for fame and fortune in America. He established his own woodworking firm shortly after World War II in 1946 and expanded that firm with his two sons. Thirty years later, they formed a group of construction and real estate related companies which, at their height, employed nearly 200 professionals and tradespeople with multiple offices and manufacturing facilities on the east coast of the United States.
Today we continue to carry on the traditions of those experiences and knowledge performing construction, real estate development and property management for our varied corporate and residential clients. It’s extremely gratifying to see the final results at the end of each project, knowing that our clients have been thoroughly satisfied with a project completed on time, on budget, and without consequence. We also manage to learn a few things along the way as the means and methods of the construction industry are forever changing and one of the keys to continued success is to stay on the top of your game.
